Description:

This unit develops the understanding of how managerial accounting adds values to strategic and operations decisions. Emphasis will be directed towards developing the skills to engage in the managerial planning and control decision making process. Besides identifying the information and principles that are relevant for internal reporting to support a user oriented focus for managerial decision making, problem solving, critical thinking, data analysis, communication and collaboration skills are developed in this unit. All of these skills are desirable for accounting professionals working in both domestic and international companies of private and public sectors.
