Description:

Utilising theme-based and task-based approaches, this Japanese language unit aims at developing the four language skills in an integrated way within the context of ‘Travel and Trade’.  Japan is one of the most popular destinations for tourists including Australians, and vice versa.  Japanese-Australian trade has been a key priority for both countries for many years.  The unit will focus on selected issues relating to Japanese ‘Travel and Trade’ from Australian perspectives through the study of academic texts, magazines, newspapers, TV programs and significant internet sites.
