U41 / V30 Graduate Diploma of Science (Mathematics)

INTRODUCTION

The Graduate Diploma of Science (Mathematics) is designed for students who previously completed a Bachelors Degree or equivalent.  It provides a broadly based foundation of Core units together with Elective Units in mathematics and statistics. The course caters specifically for the part-time student: the award can be completed in two years part time (or equivalent). On completion of the course, graduates will have the knowledge and skills needed to apply mathematics and statistics to their professional responsibilities.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Completion of a three year tertiary qualification.

 

The Graduate Diploma of Science (Mathematics) is designed for persons who possess a three-year tertiary qualification which includes at least two, one-semester mathematics units or the equivalent. For those who hold a degree in which mathematics formed a significant component, the Master of Science (Mathematics and Planning) is more appropriate.

COURSE STRUCTURE
