K95 Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Science

This double degree is designed to enable students to succeed in science in today’s rapidly changing society. It will broaden students’ understanding of themselves, their community and the larger world as well as provide them with a foundation in the disciplines which constitute the various fields of health and science, together with the opportunity for in depth study of a functional specialism. It is a challenging educational program leading to a degree which is internationally recognised in the global marketplace. The double degree provides students with lifelong transferable skills equipping them for employment in a wide range of science professions, and for further study in a variety of disciplines.

COURSE LOCATION
This course is available on Mt Lawley, and Joondalup Campuses.

This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is available in the following mode of delivery - On-campus.
 
COURSE STRUCTURE

The course will comprise 480 credit points (32 units) over four years of full-time study, or part-time equivalent. 240 credit points will be studied in the Bachelor of Arts and 240 credit points in the Bachelor of Science.

 

Within this course, students are required to complete the following units:

 

From the Bachelor of Arts:

  • Foundation program of 30 credit points (2 core units)
  • 120 credit points Arts Major (8 units)
  • 75 credit points Arts Minor (5 units) 
  • 15 credit points final semester capstone unit

 

From the Bachelor of Science:

  • 120 credit points Science Major (8 units)
  • 120 credit points second Science Major (8 units)


NOTE: Students who are unable to complete the requirements of the Double Degree may elect to exit to either the Bachelor of Arts (K90) or the Bachelor of Science (308), depending on the units that they have already completed.
