Given the relevance of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use to a range of professional fields, this six-unit minor of Addiction Studies is available to any student enrolled in a relevant degree at ECU, including but not restricted to Psychology, Youth Work, Justice Studies, Education, Nursing, Family Studies, etc. Each unit is worth 15 credit points and all six units must be completed to obtain the 90 credit points required for this minor. Some units within the Addiction Studies minor have pre-requisite units and the details of which are listed in the individual unit outlines. Students should discuss their choice of Minor and/or Elective units with the course coordinator of their Major area of study. | |||||||||||||||||||||
