MAINME  Interactive Media Development Major  

This unit set is available in the following courses:

An Interactive Media Development major provides studies of both a theoretical and practical nature in the areas of interactive digital media production and evaluation. It draws together theory and knowledge from multiple creative disciplines. Students gain skills and competence in the design, scripting, development and usability of digital media products for information, entertainment and commerce. Also, they develop an understanding and skills associated with the specialist roles needed in the team-based development and management of interactive media products for web and other emergent technologies.

This unit set is available on Mt Lawley Campus.
This unit set is available in the following mode of delivery - On-campus.
Students may commence Level Two units of their Major in the first and second semesters of enrolment.
Select 75 credit points (5 units) from the following:
GDT2102 3D Visualisation 15
IMM2123 Interactive Multimedia Authoring 1 15
IMM2125 Interface and Information Design 15
IMM2226 Interactive Multimedia Authoring 2 15
IMM1122 Publishing on the World Wide Web 15
Plus select 45 credit points (3 units) from the following:
IMM3205 3D Animation 15
IMM3227 Advanced World Wide Web Applications 15
IMM3228 Project Management Methodology 15
IMM3330 Industry Project Development 15
Note 1: Interactive media students can also undertake the elective unit CMM3104 Professional Placement 1.
Note 2: It is recommended that students intending to study the Interactive Media Development Major complete at least two of the following Foundation Program electives:
