VIS2510 Glass Sculpture
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS

Description:

In this unit students develop an informed approach to the creation of sculptural artworks using glass as the primary medium. Students are introduced to design considerations and technical skills development including fusing, slumping, mould-making, casting and basic cold-working techniques. Technical development is complemented by an introduction to contemporary glass sculpture developments.
