Description:

In this unit students will begin to assume basic leadership roles demonstrating personal values, conflict management, negotiation and team skills as well as an understanding of the value of emotional and social intelligence. This unit will develop the employability skills of self-management, working effectively with others, problem-solving, social responsibility and accountability, as well as developing initiative and enterprise. Acquisition of skills will be demonstrated through active and reflective learning, business case studies, role-plays and team projects, using various problem-solving techniques and a range of tools and technologies to help with decision-making.
