MSE4261 Learning and Teaching Mathematics 2A

Description:
This unit extends the introduction to the teaching and learning of secondary school mathematics provided by the previous unit. The mathematical areas of measurement and space as outlined in the Unit Curriculum and the National Statement on Mathematics will provide the basis for the continuation of teaching and learning of mathematics via the vehicles of problem solving, investigations, and mathematical modelling. Students will have the opportunity to use multimedia and work in groups to learn about a variety of assessment strategies available in the evaluation of mathematics.
