This unit applies management theory to leisure service settings and organisations, as well as examining the influence of government agencies on leisure management. It includes an emphasis on the application of relevant contemporary business practices in the leisure industry, through in-class scenarios with a particular focus on managerial skills, customer service, benchmarking and sustainability.
