FAS1103 Inquiry for Textiles

Description:

This unit encourages an exploration into materials and processes for textile development. The aim of this unit is to develop ideas and visual research from which to generate work that investigates materiality and context. Students will apply a range of traditional and contemporary textile processes in relation to their ideas. The content of this unit is supported with associated historical and contemporary research in art, fashion and popular culture.
