Description:

This unit looks at patterns of communication in different cultures and languages to make students aware of differences which could impact on effective communication between members of different cultures. The unit includes examples from a variety of cultures and languages and presents a number of ways of understanding the differences between them with a view to enhancing skills in cross-cultural communication.
