ECS4010 Transition to Teaching (ECE)

Description:

This unit examines current policies and issues in early childhood care and education.  Issues related to making the transition from pre-service teacher to practicing teacher will be explored.  The unit examines processes and procedures for registration, preparing for employment and completing a professional portfolio.  The unit reviews alternative philosophical approaches to care and education and examines recent research and trends in early childhood education.
