ECS1111 Early Learning Environments

Description:

In this unit pre-service teachers develop the skills to design and monitor environments where young children will be physically, emotionally, aesthetically and intellectually nurtured and challenged.   The unit explores the ecological relationship of health, safety and nutrition for the enhancement of children’s well being for effective learning.   Pre-service teachers develop strategies for engaging children in learning and establishing effective relationships with others.  This unit highlights the links between learning, the learner and the learning environment through the use of multimedia and practical experiences.
