This minor comprises 75 credit points (five units) selected from the units listed below.
 
Students must complete 45 credit points consisting of the following three core units:
 
WRT1110 Introduction to Editing 15
WRT3114 Writing and Editing 15
WRT3123 Production, Editing and Design 15
 
Plus 30 credit points (2 units) from the following:
 
CSI1102 Presentation Systems 15
LST1060 English Grammar for Professionals 15
WRT1101 Language and Writing 15
WRT3112 Community Writing 15
WRT3115 Authorship and Publication 15
 
Or a unit in an area relevant to the studentís interests (such as a creative or professional writing unit, an English or Children's Literature unit, or a media unit such as CMM2103 Media Law and Ethics), approved by the Writing/Editing Coordinator.
 
Note: Students should achieve a course average of at least 70% by their third year of study (full-time) in order to do ICS3101 Arts Practicum (in the field of Editing).
