Description:
This unit applies ecological principles to the management and conservation of global ecosystems and their components. It deals with the management and measurement of populations and ecological communities, as well as the impacts of ecosystem fragmentation, and includes recovery of threatened species and communities, reservation of habitat and restoration ecology.
