CCA1101 Contexts of Modernity

Description:

This unit looks at the ways in which varying modernist cultural and social conditions affect the production and consumption of culture. A recent history of material culture is presented and its forms and content analysed. The lecture programme develops the critical methodologies necessary for the analysis of cultural practices.
