ISM5114 Issues in Indigenous Policy Studies

Description:

This unit explores the key policy challenges that face contemporary Indigenous Australians. Students will analyse the role of Indigenous social indicators in policy formation, critically analyse the debate between equality of outcomes and recognition of Indigenous aspirations, and explore the policy implications of Indigenous autonomy. There will be opportunities for students to concentrate on a policy area of their choice.
