Available for enrolment in semester 1 only for students who have completed all other units in course

Students will develop competencies in caring for clients in selected clinical and community settings and undertake clinical practice in a variety of health care settings, including simulation. Participation in community nursing will have a focus on meeting the biopsychosocial, spiritual and cultural needs of individuals, families and groups within the community.  Students will complete a continuous period of clinical practice in a selected area of interest and medication calculation competence will also be addressed.
