This unit reflects the scholarly and research interests of individual staff. It may focus, for example, on thematic issues such as immigration and the global market for labour; methodological issues such as the application of social theory in research; or specific fields such as social theory. Specific areas offered will vary in successive years according to experience of staff involved.
