SPS2202 Care and Prevention of Injuries

This unit is designed to give the student an understanding of the nature and anatomy of common sports injuries; the provision of first aid in sport programmes; prophylactic strapping for sports participation and an appreciation of the concepts underlying management of injured athletes.
