PAD3102 Event Management
Credit Points: 15

Students will engage in a program of study that will provide an understanding of the specific skills required to design, produce and manage arts events.  The unit presupposed a basic knowledge of arts administration, developing more specifically in the areas of arts marketing, funding and performance issues for arts practitioners across a wide spectrum of the visual and performing arts with respect to the display, presentation, organisation, and selection of works for performance or exhibition.  Special attention will be given to the knowledge required to present self-devised work.
