Prerequisites:
NNT3201 Principles of the Individual's Adaptation to Altered Health Status 3
This pre-requisite does not apply to students enrolled in courses G51 and K89.
 
Description:

Students will develop an understanding of the principles of epidemiology, primary health care, community and population health at local and global levels. The health care of individuals, families and groups will be discussed in relation to health promotion/education, health maintenance and disease prevention. Theoretical models of health program planning and community health care are examined.
