SPE3103 Professional Issues in Speech Pathology

Description:

This unit prepares students for their role as a speech pathologist in a multidisciplinary health team. By example and participation, students will learn how to make specialised contributions to dynamic and diverse teams in public and private speech pathology practices in a variety of urban, rural and cultural contexts. They will acquire knowledge of the minimum competencies expected of entry-level speech pathologists to gain state licensure and engage in observation and evaluation of a variety of service delivery methods currently used in Western Australia.
