G79 BACHELOR OF CONTEMPORARY ARTS 
 

The major in Visual Arts allows students to construct either specialist or inter-disciplinary pathways across a range of activities and workshops within the School's Visual Arts curriculum. The major facilitates the construction of a reflexive art practice focusing on one or more of the following specialist studios: Painting, Print Media, Textiles, Electronic Arts, Sculpture.

Note: It is recommended that students intending to study the Visual Arts major complete the following electives in the foundation year (Year One):
 
VIS1301 Introduction to Visual Praxis 15
VIS1302 Introduction to Studio Disciplines 15
VIS1303 Introduction to Drawing 15
 
Students intending to focus entirely in the Visual Arts rather than electing to study another interdisciplinary major can complete additional units from the list above to complete the requirements of the course.
