This Specialist Major in Applied Counselling Skills is designed for students who seek applied knowledge and skills in working with a broad range of people in a helping context. The Major provides the student with the opportunity to develop and practice first skills in counselling. Also contained within this component are two units that focus on identifying, developing and validating the skills needed to apply for employment working with people in a helping context.
