The Graduate Certificate in Geostatistics provides the theory and methods for the statistics and mathematical modelling used in the analysis of data arising in the earth and environmental sciences. The course covers variography and spatial estimation and simulation techniques with a focus on the application to data from a variety of backgrounds. The course is of particular relevance to the mining, environmental and petroleum industries. |

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS A three year bachelor degree with a major that includes a mathematics/statistics component OR equivalent prior learning including at least 5 years appropriate professional experience. |
