K81 Bachelor of Business (Tourism Management) Honours

The Bachelor of Business (Tourism Management) Honours program is designed to provide advanced, research based studies in Tourism Management. It aims to develop understanding of the state of knowledge in the discipline area alongside knowledge and ability relating to research methods and research activity in Tourism Management. Students will be engaged in a significant research investigation resulting in the production of a thesis with either a theoretical or an applied focus.
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for the Honours program a student must normally have achieved a Weighted Average Mark of 70% in the degree program.

This course is available on Joondalup Campus.

This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The Honours program is a one year full-time course, or two years part-time for a total of 120 credit points comprising of the following units:
 
Semester 1
BSA4701 Business Research Methods 15
TSM4172 Honours Thesis Development 30 
TSM4613 Tourism&Hospitality Management A 15
Or
An elective approved by the Course Coordinator
 
Semester 2
TSM4173 Honours Thesis 30 
TSM4213 Tourism&Hospitality Management B 15
Plus
