K58 Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Psychological Science

The combined Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Psychological Science degree is modelled on the Bachelor of Laws degree (V72) and Bachelor of Psychological Science degree and is designed and intended to enable students who wish to study law and psychological science to obtain a bachelor degree in these fields through five years of study, or part time equivalent.  The ECU Bachelor of Laws degree satisfies the academic requirements for admission of law graduates as legal practitioners in Western Australia.  As with other Bachelor of Laws degrees in Australia, before a law graduate may be admitted to the legal profession in that state or territory, certain additional requirements must be satisfied after completion of the Bachelor of Laws degree.  For law graduates seeking admission in Western Australia, refer to the Legal Practice Act 2003 (WA).  The ECU Bachelor of Psychological Science is accredited by the Australian Psychological Society, and on completion of this award, students are able to proceed to a fourth year approved by the Australian Psychological Society.  As with other bachelor degrees in psychology, registration as a psychologist will require a further 2 years of post graduate training and/or supervised experience.

In accordance with the university admission requirements as determined from time to time.
