K64 Bachelor of Business (Finance) Honours

The Bachelor of Business (Finance) Honours program is designed to provide advanced, research based studies in finance. It aims to develop understanding of the state of knowledge in the discipline area alongside knowledge and ability relating to research methods and research activity in finance. Students will be engaged in a significant research investigation resulting in the production of a thesis with either a theoretical or an applied focus.
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for the Honours program a student must normally have achieved a Weighted Average Mark of 70% in the degree program.

This course is available on Joondalup Campus.

This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is available in the following mode of delivery - On-campus.
 
COURSE STRUCTURE

The Honours program is a one year full-time course, or two years part-time for a total of 120 credit points comprising of the following units:
 
Semester 1 (full-time)
BSA4701 Business Research Methods * 15
ECF4172 Honours Thesis Development 30 
Discipline unit 1
 
*Or an alternative research method unit prescribed by the school.
 
Semester 2 (full-time)
ECF4173 Honours Thesis 30 
Discipline Unit 2
Discipline unit 3
 
Students are required to complete a total of 45 credit points chosen from Discipline units below:
 
ECF4106 Corporate Finance 15
ECF4610 Investment Finance 15
ECF4116 Econometrics 15
