S62 Graduate Certificate of Paediatric Nursing
The Graduate Certificate of Paediatric Nursing builds on the skills and knowledge a comprehensive nurse has attained at undergraduate level. The course equips nurses working with children to meet the educational and training needs as stated by various professional bodies to specialise in paediatric nursing.
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in nursing or Registered nurse with 3 years industry experience.
 
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The course is designed to meet the needs of nurses currently working with children. Therefore to undertake this unit, students should be working in a service which provides care for children.
 
COURSE LOCATION
This course is available on Joondalup Campus.
 
MODE OF STUDY
This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is available in the following modes of delivery - On-campus, and Online.
 
COURSE STRUCTURE
The Graduate Certificate of Paediatric Nursing is 60 credit points one-year part time or on a full time basis at the Joondalup Campus and on-line. The course has three units:

NNT4100 Foundations of Paediatric Nursing 20 
NNT4101 Paediatric Health Assessment and Care Planning 20 
NNT4102 Quality Communication in Paediatric Health Care 20
