I34 Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration program is designed to develop essential managerial knowledge, skills and attitudes which will enable graduates to be effective and productive in the workplace.  The fundamental theme of the course is managerial decision-making within the context of the manager’s interpersonal and informational roles.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Completion of a recognised undergraduate degree or Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma and subject to a minimum of two years relevant work experience.

 
COURSE LOCATION
This course is available on Mt Lawley, and Bunbury Campuses.

Some units or specialisations are only available at Joondalup campus or in the off campus mode of delivery.
 
MODE OF STUDY
This course is available by Full-time, or Part-time mode.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is available in the following modes of delivery - On-campus, and Online.

Core units and many electives are available in off-campus mode of delivery. Health Services Management is only available in off-campus mode of delivery.
 
COURSE STRUCTURE

The program of 180 credit points comprises two sections:

120 credit points (8 core units) plus 60 credit points (either 4 elective units or an area of specialisation).

 

Core Units  (120 credit points)

Core Units introduce fundamental principles in eight units of coursework during which the student will develop a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge and skills required to operate successfully the management function in both domestic and international environments.

 

Areas of Specialisation  (60 credit points)

A range of Areas of specialisation are available to enable students to tailor their MBA to their particular needs. Alternatively students may choose a combination of any level 5 units.

 

At Bunbury only the Management Area of Specialisation is available on campus. Other Areas of Specialisation may be undertaken in the off-campus mode of delivery where available.
