The Physical Education minor is designed for students wishing to teach in Years 8-10. The Physical Education Minor is designed to offer education students specialised skills and knowledge in physical education teaching. Through lectures and practical sessions, students will study four units that focus on a number of sports, adventure activities and the relationship between physical activity and health. The methods for effectively teaching this content and the issues and challenges facing Physical Education in schools will be taught in two key curriculum studies units. | |||||||||||||||||||||
