Description:

This unit aims to initiate students into the workings, methodologies and potentials of the electronic communications network as a tool for the artist within an experimental arts context. Topics covered include: introductions to interactive communications - web logging, podcasting bulletin boards, email lists and video streaming with an emphasis on experimentation and innovation in any approach to online publishing through exploring the potential uses of internet communications for one’s own arts practice.
