This unit further develops students’ understanding of chemistry as it applies to radiopharmaceuticals. The chemistry of labelling pharmaceuticals with radionuclides is covered, as is the biodistribution, metabolism and pharmacokinetics of radiopharmaceuticals. Particular attention is paid to the chemistry and pharmacokinetics of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and quality control techniques for radiopharmaceuticals. Full Unit Outline | |||
