Description:

This unit provides understanding and skills in working with children with learning disabilities, ADHD and behavioural problems. These children are typically referred to as “Children at Educational Risk”.  It explores the causes of these disabilities, methods of providing appropriate learning activities and behaviour management techniques. It also examines the support agencies and systems to assist teachers, assistants and families in the management of these children.
