EAP0107 Supporting Student Learning in the Arts

Description:

This unit is designed to provide students with an understanding of Music and Drama from the Arts Learning Area. 

 

Students will learn basic skills for encouraging participation in musical activities using simultaneous imitation, repetition and echoing. They will learn how to include instruments in group activities.

 

Students will focus on using language creatively and developing effective vocal skills required for the expressive presentation of children’s literature. They will also implement a variety of ideas and strategies for the creation and manipulation of storytelling aids which will be used in their own dramatic presentations of stories performed in the workshop session.
