ENS5118 Systems-On-Chip
SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
Credit Points: 15

Description:

This unit covers several aspects of modern VLSI (Very Large Scale of Integration) systems. Starting from deep submicron fabrication processes and continuing with CMOS design styles and methods, power dissipation and low power techniques, design for test and subsystem/system/SOC (System-On-a-Chip) architecture design, students acquire knowledge pertaining to all levels of abstraction of VLSI systems.

The hands-on project involves the design, FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) implementation and testing of a small system.
