Description:

In this unit your attention is redirected from the traditional range of offenders to the sophisticated white collar and organised criminal. You will be introduced to theories relating to commercial crime and to some examples of application of these theories.  The unit is designed to include some international perspectives on commercial and organised crime. The investigation of commercial crime will be discussed. There will also be discussion on some recent legislation on commercial crime and confiscation of the proceeds of crime.
