PHR3217 Argument and Advocacy

Description:

The unit develops skills in (public) advocacy, both in writing and speaking, but focuses on the development of speaking skills. It builds on the skills developed in the PHR1102 Critical Thinking unit, introduces and develops skills in rhetoric, and examines the ethics of advocacy with a view to developing an understanding of the constraints on the use of rhetoric.
