EDF1102 Arts and Aesthetics

Description:

This unit introduces students to The Arts through active participation in discovering the importance of The Arts in society, by increasing their knowledge of The Arts (Dance, Drama, Music, Media and Visual Arts) and developing their aesthetic responses to The Arts in their community.  Students will share in the exhilaration and sense of identity, which artistic creativity generates and will be encouraged through a strategic framework to reflect on their personal and professional positioning within The Arts and implications for their development as an educator.
