WPL3102 Workplace Learning 3

Description:

This unit includes a one hour lecture per week and a minimum of 12 days of workplace experience in a junior primary classroom (years 1 to 3).  The focus for this workplace experience will be the exploration of the concepts of diversity and inclusivity. Students will plan and implement strategies to cater for students at educational risk, particularly as they relate to mainstreaming of children with special needs.  The rich task associated with this workplace learning experience will centre on profiling children with additional needs and establishing links with community support agencies.
