WPL2103 Workplace Learning 2

Description:

This unit includes an on-campus component and a minimum of 13 days of workplace experience in a Kindergarten or Pre-primary setting.  Strategies for established effective learning environments and for engaging students in various learning tasks are explored.  Basic classroom management systems are examined and critiqued for application in the early years of school. The rich task for this workplace learning experience is related to guiding the development of pro-social behaviour and in understanding, preventing and responding effectively to challenging behaviour.
