Description:

This unit is designed to keep up with the latest changes in Various Advanced Processes, Materials and Methods Involved in Surf Science Manufacturing Engineering.  The major focus is on designing and manufacturing products with plastics and composites by different processes and distinguishing between their advantages and disadvantages when compared each to other.  The focus is on the following competitive processes: Casting, Cold Forming, Blow Moulding, Compression Moulding, Extrusion, Mechanical Pressing, Reaction Injection Moulding, Reinforced Plastic Processing, Stamp-able Reinforced Thermoplastics, Rotational Moulding, Thermoforming, Scrape-less Forming Process and Transfer Moulding.   For these processes a professional guidance is provided based on selection of plastic materials, process control techniques and product and mould design process parameters.
