This four-week block practice will be the student teachers’ fourth practice experience in a school and will require continuous teaching over an extended period. Student teachers will consolidate and further sophisticate teaching skills and abilities developed during previous practice experiences. They are also required to demonstrate initiative in planning, teaching and managing the whole class. Teaching practices are embedded in University units, and student teachers are required to link the theory from these units to their teaching experiences. Full Unit Outline | |||
