ERM3210 Mathematics Education: Professional Preparation

ERM1101 Mathematics Education: Thinking and Learning
*Note: Students do not undertake ERM3210 if they have specialised in this learning area in second year.
 
Description:

The unit builds on understandings gained in previous units by examining the development of students’ mathematical ideas.  By working with current curriculum documents, students will develop confidence in planning for and evaluating student learning in mathematics.  Through consideration of the needs and backgrounds of different groups of children, students will develop a more inclusive approach to mathematics teaching.
