LAN3112 Assessment and Diagnostic Teaching for Literacy

Description:

This fourth language unit in Early Childhood Studies focuses on students' understandings about and reflections on the relationships between assessment, planning, teaching and evaluation.  Students will examine specific language and literacy needs of individual children aged 0-8 years of various levels of attainment, socio-cultural and linguistic backgrounds and will apply their developing knowledge and skills in practical situations.
