Description:
This unit requires the student to develop self-generated thematic projects based on the technical and conceptual underpinning gained in earlier units. Students are expected to develop a productive relationship between conceptual and technical issues through creative projects and documentation. The development of artistic projects should be seen within a contemporary arts context, through research into exhibition opportunities, public art, virtual and digital environments and professional practice. This unit is undertaken in one of the following studio disciplines: Painting, Print Media, Textiles, Sculpture, Electronic Arts and Design.
