Description:
This unit introduces discipline specific approaches to contemporary practice through introductions to material and virtual workshops. In conjunction with Studio Practice 1, this unit develops research and development strategies to underpin further study in either focused or interdisciplinary programs based on the demands and requirements of the student. This unit is undertaken in one of the following studio disciplines: Painting, Print Media, Textiles, Sculpture, Electronic Arts and Design.

A mix of introductory units encourage an interdisciplinary approach to arts practice, and will encourage the relationships between art and design, the physical and virtual environments, practical and theoretical issues.
