Description:
This unit addresses the nature and scope of the Society and Environment learning area within the early childhood years (4-8). It emphasises knowledge of appropriate curricula, suitable teaching and learning strategies for the early childhood phase of schooling placing special emphasis on integration. Students will also explore and analyse learning resources and engage in devising appropriate teacher learning materials.
